December 2021:

Some of the Trail Boards came loose in the recent storms so they have been removed for remedial maintenance.

They will be replaced shortly.

In the meantime all the content on the Boards is available on this website.

We apologise for any disappointment caused.

Visit Killearn’s new attraction – explore this website – and have fun!

See below for photos of the unveiling, the opening weekend, the opening quiz and the winners of the photo competition!

Unveiling the Boards

The Killearn Heritage Trail interpretation Boards have been installed. They were unveiled by pupils from KILLEARN PRIMARY SCHOOL on Thursday 20 May.

Here are some photographs from that day. Many thanks to the pupils and teachers from the Primary School and all who followed the unveiling of the Boards on a rather damp day!

Opening weekend

On Saturday 22 May (in the sunshine) and on Sunday 23 May (in the rain) lots of people from the village and beyond enjoyed following the Trail – using their KHT Passports, completing a Quiz and collecting free gifts! Many memories were exchanged and lots of conversations about the village took place. Here are some photos from the opening weekend.

If you would like to try the Opening Weekend Quiz you can download it here
