Local Paths

A great way to enjoy and appreciate our wonderful built and natural environment is to walk, run or cycle the area using the network of footpaths and cycle-tracks.

Killearn Paths group have produced a printed brochure ‘Paths around Killearn’ describing seven walks:

  • Kirkhouse Wood
  • Distillery and West Highland Way
  • Killearn to Strathblane
  • Killearn Glen
  • Gartness
  • Along the Endrick Water
  • The Ascent of Earl’s Seat

‘Paths around Killearn’ is available for £1 from the Killearn Village Hall or Oakwood.

Here is a further selection of walks and cycle routes with directions, maps, notes on historical landmarks, photographs, waymarks and GPX.
